Each bag is completely bespoke, handmade and created with the kind of care that mass production will never be able to replicate. If you have clothes sitting in a wardrobe or a bag in the loft that you cannot bring yourself to part with, this is what they were waiting for.
Every bag is handmade to order in the Reading and South Oxon area.
What is a memory bag?
A memory bag is a handmade keepsake created from the clothing or furnishings of someone who meant the world to you. It might be your father's tweed jacket, your grandmother's cotton dresses, a beloved pet's blanket, or a collection of shirts from someone who filled a room just by walking into it.
You choose the bag style. You handover the item to be transformed into a bag. I take care of everything else.
The finished bag is not a museum piece to be stored away. It is something you use. Something you carry to the shops, take on holiday, or reach for every morning. A small, daily act of remembrance that keeps the person you love present in your life.

Pay a deposit to secure your place on the waiting list.
When you reach the top of the waiting list, drop your garments off locally (Reading and South Oxon border).
Your bag is handcrafted with care.
Collect your finished keepsake at a convenient time.

Every item is treated with respect. All items are laundered in non-bio detergent before cutting to preserve the integrity of the cloth and ensure your finished bag is clean and safe to carry for years to come.
