Every order starts with a message. Tell me a little about the garments you have, the person or pet they belonged to, and the kind of bag you are hoping for. We will take it from there.

What happens when you get in touch?

I aim to respond to all enquiries within two working days. Once I have heard from you, I will ask a few questions about your fabric and your preferred bag style, and I will give you a clear indication of what is possible and what it will cost. If you are happy to proceed, I will add you to the waiting list and confirm all the details, including the deposit and the expected timeline.

There is no pressure at any stage. If you are not sure whether your fabric will work, ask me. If you have a tight deadline, tell me. If you want to make bags for six different family members from one person's wardrobe, we can talk about how to make that happen. I am here to help you find a way to keep the people you love close, whatever that looks like for you.

Before you get in touch

It helps to have a think about the following before you message me.

Which bag style appeals to you? (Shoulder bag, crossbody, tote, laptop, washbag or not sure yet?) What fabrics do you have? (Tweed, cotton, jersey, or something else?) How many bags are you hoping to have made? Do you have a deadline? (A birthday, anniversary, family gathering, or memorial?) Are you supplying the fabric yourself or would you like me to source something?

If you are not sure about any of the above, do not worry. That is what the conversation is for.

Forever in Fabric is a local, studio-based business. I currently serve customers in the Reading and South Oxon area and do not offer delivery or postal services. All garments are dropped off and collected to me in person. If you are unsure whether you fall within my area, please do ask and I will let you know.
